Hi, I am Brian Balloon!
Welcome to my photography portfolio and thank you for visiting!
My initial interest in dance started when I was back in California and took elective courses of Jazz Piano and Jazz Dance after college. I remember I put my enthusiasm into them and got an "A" out of the classes and that confirmed, to me, that I had some dance potential! After marriage and moving to Dallas a couple decades later, I received my own camera. I began portraits by attending Instagram model photography workshops and progressed to capturing movement by working with dancers around the DFW area, attending conferences, and being inspired by their beautiful movements and dedication to their art.
Capturing images and video that you love is my goal as your photographer.
More About Me
My creative history has included being a member of many choirs and experiencing music. I've had a rich vocal music history, including junior high and high school choirs, starting my own a cappella group in college, being a member of the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir, Dallas Symphony Chorus and singing in church groups. Dance photography caught me by surprise and I'm excited to add it to my creative reportoire!
I always seek to create the best photography experience for you by consistently attending workshops and educational shoots. I am honored to be featured among the best portrait photographers in Dallas, TX by Snappr and to have my dance photography featured in several magazines. Now that you know about me, I hope to learn about and work with you to become your dance photographer of choice!
While I specialize in portrait and dance photography, I also enjoy doing many different types of photography, including family and life events, food, fashion, sports and fitness. I am dedicated to capturing your style and your amazing moments in timeless images!
